In news reports, I've heard it mentioned of celebrations in Palastine. With out a doubt a act of terrorism, by miscreants who don't value human like and seek to destroy. Its important for media and leaders alike to point to the fact these are terriorist acts by terriorists. Its not the act of a country or its people and the media needs be careful in how its handled. Terrorists and despots pray on fears and hatred. They use religion, race and other means to gain support with the less fortunate to use them for their means.......this support from ignorant masses gives them power. Any retribution should be directed at the terrorists, not their misguided supporters who are being used. Directing anger at the "masses", be they associated due to religious association or nationality is a mistake....it only serves to enfore their power base and support. Efforts should be directed at the source.....those leaders responsible for this action. As you say, they are "invisible" and this terrible deed will be understood. Understand that attacking peoples based on race and religion will only serve to exercabate the problem. mad2
