A reporter in Afghanistan on CNN stated that the head of the Taliban denied any involvement and decried it. He said that Bin Laden did not have the money to carry out such a sophisticated operation. Who knows?

>the U.S. tipped off Israel that Bin Laden’s al Qaeda cells and networks in Lebanon were complete and ready to launch strikes in Israel.

Great, instead of protecting us, the intelligence idiots were more concerned with protecting Israel.

What has happened clearly shows that the US intelligence agencies are worth crap! This horrific attack IMHO is a direct consequence of the vicious and arrogant foreign policy the US has been pursuing for years...

Maybe it can lead to different approaches, like stopping emphasizing War (war on poverty, war on drugs, war on terrorists, etc.). We 've been doing wars for years and these problems are still with us and intensifying instead. Retaliations, targeted assasinations, and crap like that only intensifies the brutal cycle.

My recommendations (which of course mean absolutely nothing):

Force Israel to sign a peace treaty with the Palestinians with the following terms:
-Destroy all Jewish settlements in West Bank and Gaza strip...send the Marines in if the Israelis don't take this term seriously
-A viable Palestinian state (no damn roadblocks all over the place and transportation between the two lands)
-Compensation of war refugees to resettle in W. Bank or Gaza strip (Arafat will have to eat the return to their former homes)
-Jerusalem under international control
-Immediate UN peace keeping force deployment to keep the two sides apart.

Nato completely out of the Balkans
-Support Serbia to take Kosovo back
-Concerted gang up on the Albanian thugs from all sides, no let up until they all hang by their balls
-Economically support Yugoslavia, Macedonia and Albania instead of bombing and keeping the "peace" farce
-Please no more weapon collections, it's as bad as a Fox reality show

Complete scrapping of the Missile Defense system
-Well, why spend billions on a system to shoot down a freaking missile when Boeing jets can crash anywhere they want? Case closed. Take that money earmarked for that nonsense and spend it on upgrading the clearly totally indadequate domestic intelligence agencies.

Keep Bush away from the ranch, what the hell is a working vacation?

Make a concerted effort to CALM the inverstors before a panic of horrific proportions starts and we are all be left holding the bag

Well, that's all I had to say. Of course, none of my suggestions will be followed. Instead we 'll just bomb the hell out of some innocent people (of course the pertpetrators will escape, how long has it been we can't find them?) and the cycle will keep going...

If we do find Osama responsible, I support a massive invasion to hunt him down and hang him by his balls. But how long has it been that we cant' find this bastard?

I am going to give blood right now.
