Hi George,

Yours was undoubtedly the best rant I've read all day. Nice to hear from someone who actually comprehends the some of the causes of the events in NYC and at DoD.

Clearly what we saw today was "Rage Against the Machine". The reaction we will see now on the part of the unelected leadership of the US government will be rage against the innocent.

Re: Israel: I loved your opinion on what should be done about the Israeli imperialism on the West Bank. The Israelis are out of control and we in the US ought to be quite concerned about our government's support of such bullying.

And thank you so much for pointing out the ridiculousness of the Missile Defense system that the US trying to foist on a world that would rather have a better solution. Like disarmament. It really can't be overemphasized that the missile defense system is nothing but a ploy for a de-stabilizing handout to the military-industrial complex, that same bunch of lunatics that President Eisenhower warned us about so famously in the late 1950's.

BTW, I'm not sure if you are aware of it, but the "successful" shoot-down of a bogie that occurred about three weeks ago over the South Pacific was not quite correctly reported by the mass media. Sure enough, a missle got shot down. But wasn't reported was that the interceptor missile was fed the telemetry of the bogie. And as if that wasn't enough, the bogie was equiped with a locator beacon so that the interceptor would have even less of a chance to emulate a real world intercept. Perhaps we should simply ask all terrorists to provide us with their plans before they decide on an attack on the US. We should expect no less.

If we do find Osama responsible, I support a massive invasion to hunt him down and hang him by his balls. But how long has it been that we cant' find this bastard?

TTBOMK, Osama is legitimate, i.e. he's not a bastard. He's also a member of the elite class in Saudi Arabia. Now, just what do you hope to invade? Afghanistan? Perhaps we'd need to invade Pakistan in order to invade Afghanistan? The implications of such a folly are too preposterous to contemplate.

-Ray

"But how long has it been that we cant' find this bastard?"

We know he is or recently has been in Afghanstan, and that the government allows him to be there. That along with his recent threat of an attack on the U.S. is grounds enough to declare war on Afghanastan.

Force Israel to sign a peace treaty with the Palestinians with the following terms:
-Destroy all Jewish settlements in West Bank and Gaza strip...send the Marines in if the Israelis don't take this term seriously
-A viable Palestinian state (no damn roadblocks all over the place and transportation between the two lands)
-Compensation of war refugees to resettle in W. Bank or Gaza strip (Arafat will have to eat the return to their former homes)
-Jerusalem under international control
-Immediate UN peace keeping force deployment to keep the two sides apart.

Nato completely out of the Balkans
-Support Serbia to take Kosovo back
-Concerted gang up on the Albanian thugs from all sides, no let up until they all hang by their balls

George if we do that all we do is show any power that it can cause the US to seek opposing it or even get it to support its objective by killing enough Americans. It would only encourage countries, or groups, or individuals, that have a disagreement with or a dislike for, the US to try to kill some Americans. It would also create new groups with a beef against the US such as the Kosovo Albanians who might feel that terrorism is the way to go to get support from the US. Your proposals are the worst way possible to respond to this attack.

Tim

How quickly we forget that after the Shah of Iran was deposed the radical Muslims in Iran were as violent and crazed as they are today. There was no Israel in that mess.
The radical Muslims have always hated the West for their actions and beliefs. They refer to the West as Satan
