Sorry Ed, but if your mother's parents (I certainly cannot blame children here) did nothing to stop or hinder the efforts of the German military, or help the underground against the military, then I believe they are guilty of complicity. I find it hard to see fine lines when this type of action takes place. If Bin Laden is to blame, then the actions of Afghanistan (that of allowing him safe haven) are to blame also.

There is a local television station here that has been airing for some months, some video showing the training of very young children being taught to use firearms, and enacting sacrificing themselves etc in warfare. This was being shown as a teaching video to the Palestine kids. Therefore as it always appears the opponents are killing children. Often on the "national news" reels I see the adults standing in the background as the children are sent forward to perform the attacks. Anyway CNN and "national news" would always slant the news to protect them for some reason and never would show the society that teaches their children these things as the perpetrators. I am sure the local network will probably try again to offer it to the public "national news" to air again. Previously there was such an opinionated complacent attitude. There just might be more interest now, since all are trying to find the root of how this could happen and then be cheered by the children in the streets. Have you been over there? I was quite amazed with the reality I sensed of what could possibly happen from that type of upbringing from generation to generation over there. Well some of those kids grew up to perform the same type of things. I am afraid there are more being trained as we speak. Of course today's events are beyond my wildest fears and imaginations, as now we are rendered helpless and subject to anymore of this they wish to perform. I know of no other society that is teaching the children in this way on this globe. My prayers are with those so closely affected by this. FWIW Roger
