You certainly are not alone. Seems like there are many on SI who would do to civilians in Arab countries what has been done to innocent people in the USA today. Not sure what these blood thirsty types hope to achieve. What they will achieve however is certain, and that is a spiral of increasing violence.

Undoubtedly lots of innocent Japanese and lots of innocent Germans were killed when we firebombed Tokyo and Berlin in the 40's. It's a tragedy of war. We didn't worry about winning popularity contests with either country back then and the same is true today. Americans need to get over the Vietnam War and stop worrying about every potential victim of our military strength. These countries are harboring terrorists, have been harboring terrorists, and will continue to harbor terrorists as long as they can get away with it. We CAN eliminate this problem. The question is: do we have the WILL to do it?? If you don't see radical Islam as evil, you stand with Charles Lindbergh.
