I don't think the consumer intents before and after this event will changed much. What will be changed, as after many other major disasters (major earthquakes and hurricanes) is a bolus of additional spending for reconstruction. I feel that the Trade center need to be rebuilt, if for no other reason than show those gangs of terrorists that these acts will not deter the US or plunge it into self doubts.
