I think as I reflect on how American's have reacted, its easy to see what a mistake it would be for USA to react in kind (besides, who do we attack).
Maybe its good we don't have a country to attack, as surely we would, however unless the whole country was anihalated what good would it do. Need to focus on idenitifying the true enemy (terrorist leaders!) and not succumb to blaming the innocent.
Slowly warfare is transitioning from the traditional (armies) to terrorist campaign.
Our military, intellegence complex needs to rethink everything, from how the world has changed (open trade and boarders) to technology.
we can't go backward (closing boarders, restricting movement and ultimatly freedom), we need to go forward and orient towards the new threats.
Technology is available.

In the meantime I dread having to fly......the hassels are going to be beyond imagination.....no carry on baggage, no jsut in time arrival at the airport.....it'll be like flying out of toronto....gotta be there 2 hours ahead of time.
