should be an armed agent on every plane, specially trained crew memebr, something like that...get insurance co's to foot the bill, they'll agree to anything to get off some of the financial hook for this

JRI, I don't disagree about lack of security, etc, but don't know if that applies here -
Reports of people on board calling relatives on cell phones from planes -
they said that the terrorists moved everyone to the back of the plane, stabbed the stewardess' to get the pilot to come out of cockpit-

that's what I heard anyway . . .

Sounds like the makings for an excellent product liability class action suit against AMR, UAL and BA...deep pockets there. If they aren't keel-hauled at the opening, may be a chance to play it from the dark side.
