So current failure is no reason to stop attempting worthwhile endeavors.


It's no reason to stop funding it with a few million dollars as a research project, but it's a very good reason not to fund it with billions of dollars as a large scale weapons development project.

Amazing how many things we would NOT HAVE if all projects were scrapped after a failure or two. How do these people themselves make it through life with that attitude?

Oh yeah, if you fail, the government is there to give you money. Almost forgot <g>
