OK, I'm wrong somewhere. However, I neglect all religions equally. I do believe that fundamentalists interpret in a way to justify their own intolerant behavior and beliefs, all major religions included. Thanks for the link and the education. Perhaps I'm wrong in using the term "fundamentalist" but I equate that with total inflexibility of beliefs towards others, much like the Puritan Pilgrims that many think were ambassadors of religious freedom but were extremely rigid and intolerant. Or not (maybe I'm wrong about that, too).

Thomas the "Islamic fundamentalism" and the modern Islamic faith is an interpretation of a belief, similar in many ways like Christianity in the middle ages were people were burned at the stick for a variety of reason. "Islamic fundamentalism" use the Koran to justify their action as are many other ME countries. Did Karl Max communism wrote to kill all doctors and lawyers establish the Gulag??..... no but Stalin did.
