What a statement. It's tantamount to a confession of what we already know about the forces behind this. I was dismayed to see earlier on t.v. that some of the hijackers came through Canada, and that many border areas are completely unpatrolled at night. Apparently last November this was noted as an open invitation to terrorism.

Hello Friends! Just got in from out of town and want to tell a few stories about today. 1.) I had an early morning meeting at 8 a.m. As the attendees were coming in to work for the meeting, one of the people said she just saw something that sort of shook her up as she was taking her young daughter to school. She described that up the road from the facility there was a man standing out in front of his house waving an American Flag as everyone was driving by. She said folks were waving and honking their horns at him as they went by. She had nearly everyone in that room with a tear in their eye as she described the scene and what it meant to her. 2.) At a break in the meeting, I called Mrs. RR to check in back home. She said that she had something to tell me about something she saw when she was taking one of our sons to school this morning. As she drove up main street to the school, she rounded a curve and there at the main intersection going into the school was a city police officer and a city fireman on the side of the road, both proudly standing there in their dress uniforms holding a huge American flag. I'm sure every parent delivering a child to that school felt some comfort and gratitude in seeing them there today. I know it had an impact on us. 3.) At the end of the day when I was driving home, I was stunned to see the number of American Flags flying out in front of houses. I have never seen so many as I saw today. I was driving through rural areas and it was really something to see house after house along the country roads with a Flag flying out front. Amazing... I'm telling ya folks, it was amazing. Have to head back out again late tonight, so won't be on here tomorrow. Hopefully, will be back tomorrow night. Hang in there. Proud to be an American! RR

What a sorry loveless society they have now. The Talaban can go to hell ! I think we need to pop Bin Laden, even if he had nothing to do with this... he very much deserves to meet his Maker. Get rid of him and his fanatics now... if someone else did it, then we can get rid of them later. By the way, I've been distressed by the general anti-Arab, redneck, nastiness that has been going on... this country is supposed to be about ideas and personal behaviour... not the mindless stereotyping of good citizens based on bigotry, race or ethnicity.
