Don't pilots have to have some basic flight training before they can fly the big planes with instruments? What do you think of the possibility that Iraq may have used some of it's pilots and sent them to the school to fly the big planes?

Sadham was quick to release an empathy statement which I found suspicious.

I know that most imprints are pointing toward Bin Ladin but sometimes the finger pointing is a set up also. Sadham is probably itching to engage Bush Sr.'s son. Isn't Sadham rumored to have cancer? Maybe he wants to go out in a big bang and keep his infamous footprint on history.

Just some thoughts....

I don't believe Americans, on the whole, want huge losses on "the other side". I certainly don't. I think we all realize the relatively minute scale of the enemy we are facing. At the same time, we do want justice, we want our freedom and our future peace protected and defended. If this can done with relatively little bloodshed, I doubt there would be any outcry for anything further. But it is probably not realistic to expect that this can both be solved and be solved cleanly.

These men are more desperate and more horrible than anything we can dream of. They have proved that.

Further, they will never be satisfied. They will never feel they have gone far enough.

We cannot afford to give them the opportunity to prove that.

Thanks for your concern, Mike. We're ok, but shocked by events.
