At the moment, the U.S. is the only real support that Pakistan has against India, which hates them and is considerably larger, richer and more advanced than them. I would say that it is unlikely that Pakistan will get in our way. Pakistan has an incentive to help us. Not just fear of somehow becoming a target themselves (and if they are not guilty I don't think they will be a target), but desire to not have the US rhetorically and diplomatically tilt to India in any confrontation the two countries might have. Pakistan might see this as an oportunity to cause the US to be more supportive of them. Tim
