William: I've long felt that preventing terrorist attacks within our borders was a higher priority than a missile defense system... You need good intelligence operations around the world to stop these type of terrorist operations long before they can be carried out... This particular operation was over one year in preparation... We know that because the pilots were trained in July of 2000 in Florida... Just as Germans and Japanese persons movements were scrutinized during WWII it will unfortunately be necessary to scrutinize the international movements of those people coming from countries that have harbored terrorists... To some this may sound racist... I'm sorry about that, but nearly 5000 dead American souls cry out for an answer to this act of war against innocent civilians... If you want to find terrorists you go where they go... Right now the bulk of international terrorists are of Middle Eastern origin... As such, that's where the focus must and will be... Usama Ben Ladin has relatives in Boston... How could we not at least investigate whether there are ties to the terrorist groups... The American way of life is being threatened by those from within and without... Good intelligence operations will help us find out who the bad guys are before they do bad things... Jim
