AA, I think your right but I ask again, what other choice do we have? Appeasement. The next time Im dead, and the Usa will be decimated if NY was to be destroyed. So its not unlike the fate of the passengers on the flight in PA. Either risk your life to have a small chance of survival, or die anyway. I am in the line of fire which you are not, might change your outlook if you were. I am despondent because I see two very unacceptable results of American re-action. I am hoping we figure out another way, like JFK did in Cuban Missile crisis. As I see it isnot much diferent. I look at this attack as one of many to come, which could be possibly Nuklear, or chemichal. So will killing bin laden and Huessein stop that no. Will occupying a piece of the middle east and monitoring those who wish to attack me, and striking first(like Isreal) stop it? Probably not, but I think the odds would be higher. In either case I see America's economic downtrend commencing. this course of events will depict if AMERICA is at the end of its rein, or if we have the resolve to sustain ourselves. I think this is the beginning of the end, sadly.IMHO

CEO of SG Cowen making a fool of himself...basically saying, given the crisis, its OK to buy, its OK to hold, but selling would be a serious mistake..

If his firm does ANY selling is the next month (and its a damn good bet they will), he should be thrown in jail....this is simply scam...

Why can't these guys say they have a fiduary responsibility to their client to sell when appropriate.

I find this "rah-rah" crap when/if these guys do the opposite as morally repugnant.
