Has it ever occured to anyone that Talibaan and Ladin may not be responsible for this at all ?

It would be interesting to speculate who else could have done this ?

My problem is that I hold them personally responsible for this if bin Laden is to blame. He has been proven to be responsible for other atrocities up to this point and yet they have shielded him. I think they understood President Bush the same way I did the other night and they are afraid. I truly hope they have reason for that fear.

, I think one response to that is....how about we have the trial in an American court but apply Islamic law?

That could work.

What's the penalty under Sharia for murder? I do believe it is death.

He's definitely their "get out of jail" card.

It would buy them time and he's tainted goods now.
