No right is absolute, dipwad. The right to free speech does not include the right to yell "Fire" in a crowded theater. The right to free speech does not include the right to defame or the right to distribute pornography. And in times of war, all rights become more circumscribed. War or not, rights to free speech can be limited reasonably by the government as to time, place and manner. Criticism of the Bush Administration does not bother me. I've criticized some of Bush's policies myself. But posting that the President is a liar and a coward while the threat may still be real and while the bodies of the innocent victoms have not grown cold DOES IN FACT give aid and comfort to the enemy. And those who give aid and comfort to our enemies are TRAITORS.....

I'm sick to death of your demolib condescension, that those of us who esteem old fashioned values like duty, honor and service to country and exercising one's rights as a citizen with those same values and with judgment and restraint are some type of right wing whackos. Your arrogance is exceeded only by your pettiness and ignorance. There will be plenty of time for criticism and finger pointing later. Presently and for the foreseeable future, this is the time for national unity and for respect to those whose lives were ended so needlessly and callously. Those who will not join against the common enemy are traitors to the Republic. Period. No special line to God needed to figure that one out.

Gee, 11 months. Brinkley, the dean of US broadcasters, was right about Clinton on election night 1996: "Nothing but four more years of G... D... nonsense".
