Er.... sorry, It was a narrow topic I was addressing (Taliban, Iraq, Iran, etc.) and I didn't want to get off-topic or write a volume.

I see, that's why you left out things like Red Army $ in DNC coffers.

The Iraqi mess was a fait accompli left him by his predecessor Bush the First

Clinton at least did respond against Ben Laden in Sudan and Afghanistan, but got ZERO support from our allies at the time

Clinton surely can't be blamed for the Iraqi mess, which was largely created by Reagan/Bush and then Bush policies

So to sum up Buddy's non-partisan analysis of the last 21 yrs of forgein policy, it's f***ed up for 12 yrs., "not his fault" for 8 yrs, then f***ed up again the past 8 months.

Sounds right up the middle to me.

Don't you find it troubling that Pakistan has apparently enthusiastically signed on to Bush's "coalition against terrorism?" Kind of a fox in the chicken coop sorta thing, don't you think?

BTW, you DO have a problem with brevity, but I've enjoyed reading your stuff today. ;-)
