Well just watching Fouad Adajami,a man who'e opinion i always respect,as he is one of the truest experts on terrorism in the Middle East plus the complexities of the the region.He says it is clear Pakistan was given a choice you are with us or against us,and they i have said they are with us.They have said we can use their airspace,indicating they would close their border to Afghanistan.But this not all we want,will want get are troops iito Pakistan(as part of a staging area) and most important to work hand in hand with Pakistani intelligence,as they know more about the Taliban than any intelligence in the world(they could then face terrorism threats themselves from the large extreme fanatic group within their own borders). He stated,Adajami that is,yes,people bring out that Afghanistan has been the graveyard of others countries military,but he stresses they were occupational rather invasional,search and destroy. He supports my view,the the Taliban are so hated by most Afghans,the we must use this to our advantage,as we can be seen as liberators. He stresses we need break the taliban and get Bin-laden whole organization within Afghanistan,and break it's network world wide. He states the whole Mid-Eastern world has doubts we have the resolve,they frankly see us as a spoiled people,with no resolve--he states that once we commence this we MUST see it through to the end. he brings out that bombing Afghanistan is by and large a futile activity,it is poor and desperate country that have near nothing to even bomb.And i heard one expert on the bombing in the past of Bin-Laden,say it was only an exercise in bouncing a lot rocks around,as these people vanish into the earth in twink. And constant message coming from are own government--there is know quick fix,and there have been hints that this could be a war of length. I feel our resolve has been in serious question since we quit the run to Baghdad ,but that was not our tropps weakness,the weakness came from the very top--the President. Fouad Adajami says yes there could be a second cell out there with a 2nd wave of terror in the overall plan(but we have evidently no evidence yet also if this is well planned to the extreme the first group would not themseves know the identities, plan or location of the 2nd cell,IF there even is a 2nd cell---my aside. One thing to remember,18 people so resolved and also so extremely FANATIC,they had no problem with dying--none(i am thinking how many people of that suicide mission quality,are actually available?? The paradox is they carry out cowardly acts but are not themselves cowards,so you can not say,these cowards that carried out these cowardly acts--no these are highly motivated people and however cowardly the crime,they are not cowards)(McVeigh was BOTH coward and performer of a cowardly act---his plan was then to escape and ENJOY the horror he had inflicted) But Fouad A. said when he reads of how two of the cell members were seen ordering alcoholis drinks and imbibing--he says "what are we dealing with here???? this is not islam" My problem is,Saddam is still out there,alive.Max
