Dear M and others: I am so glad that you are aware of the problem and the incredible dangers posed by terrorists. I am very hopeful this is going to be a WORLDWIDE effort to ban terrorism. The immediate effect should be to eradicate their current training camps and eliminate as many of their leaders as possible. This will put a dent in their operations for now. Ultimately, I think the solution will be that IF the entire world works together we can make the SHAME factor so awful that no decent nation will want to be considered a Terrorist supporting state. Peer pressure works with people and I bet it works with most nations as well. In any event, regardless of how one feels about the violence we are about to have to wreek (sp?) on these terrorist and their goons, we HAVE NO CHOICE in this. War has been declared against the democracies of the World (check and see what is happening in India there is a recent post on EMC thread of this). Their incredible success here has emboldened them to dream of even worse threats. JDN

I asked you in an earlier post if you had any ideas. I take it by your lack of a response that you don't. Ideas and solutions are not is his lexicon. It is utterly despicable for these demolib pinheads like TP, Assenna1, flapjack, Considine, walkinginshadow, etc. to show up and take crude potshots at Bush and the government while the wreckage of the WTC is still smoldering and the bodies of the fallen have not all been recovered. To me, the "don't FK with Americans" attitude and the arrogance and contempt that goes with it has contributed much to the terrorism directed at us and this arrogance and contempt has. or should have, nothing to do with how we "allowed freedom to dominate our society". If we have "allowed freedom to dominate our society" this way, it's been a huge mistake. And I don't think "don't FK with Americans" is any different than the ""don't F*K with me!" attitude of many people in this country. Just look at the violence this alone brings on. "I have no doubt what so ever that my two sons would go into battle with their heads held high knowing that theirs was a just and noble cause. They would truly believe in their mission and that it was just." However different the holy causes people die for, they perhaps die basically for the same thing.* "I asked you in an earlier post if you had any ideas.
