Dale, I was in the 8th grade during the Bay of Pigs incident.

Almost all Americans (even my buddies in the 8th grade were ready to kick some Rusky butt) had the attitude "victory or nothing"

I was very active in the anti-war movement in the 60s and we as "dope smoking hippies" had the attitude "victory or nothing" and when college kids started dying the politicians of the era new we were serious.

We must show our enemies we have that kind of resolve NOW or we are doomed IMHO.

We are dealing with very seasoned warriors.

As a thinking man I am sure you can imagine how much resolve our enemies have.

You think those guys that flew those planes into the greatest symbol of civilization in the history of mankind didn't have "VICTORY OR NOTHING" on their minds?

On a lighter note wasn't it amazing one of these "turkeys" actually had the audacity to try and board a plane with a 9/11 ticket on 9/13.

It appears we are not dealing with rocket scientest so that should give us some hope.

It makes me sick to see these talking heads running around talking about a patriotic stock rally and saying to BUY now. This is not about stocks, they just don't get it, IMO.

Dale,

Many of us are not policemen or firemen, we are not doctors or soldiers, we are traders. What can traders do to help our country in these trying times? We can support our market. We can demonstrate to the world that the terrorists did not succeed in their attempt to destroy our financial centers. Each of us can only help by doing what we do, with the knowledge in our hearts that we are helping in some small way. This is much bigger than making a good trade. We must insure that our children and their children have the freedom to make trades, should they wish to do so.

Fred
