Not to defend Falwell but that's dumb. OTOH, sure all this runs on money but I didn't know Falwell was that rich...

There is a major difference between Falwell and Bin Laden. Bin Laden, like Charles Manson, is a psychopath, or at the very least a sociopath. Falwell is motivated purely by greed and power. Unless there were profit in it, Falwell would never advocate a terrorist act.

I think Bin Laden is neither. He is a strong personality, a zealot who feels that the US f*cked over his muslim brothers and he wants retribution. To think otherwise and/or to underestimate him is to risk getting a jet liner popping into your office window when you least expect it.

As for Falwell, he is an outspoken weasel who uses his words to intimate and do his bidding. He is the one with the disturbed personality. All Falwell does is talk the talk, Bin Laden walks the walks. If I had to choose between Bin Laden and Falwell for a friend, Bin Laden would win hands down.
