No TOU violations, in fact he was kind enough to say he thought I was probably a good person. (in spite of my selfish, self-serving, narrow ways) People have many personal agendas and grievances that erupt at stressful times. We've seen it a lot this week. There are times and places for the issues he was raising, and this was not one of them. Some people lack any sense of appropriate behavior- it's weird. I tried one response saying that the failure of the airlines at this time would be disastrous for our economy, and that my post had nothing to do with personal employment concerns. (And certainly nothing to do with travel agents) but it met on deaf ears or blind eyes or something. ANyway, I haven't changed my mind, and feel even more strongly about being careful not to destroy one of our most vital means of travel and communication. It will do the travel agent little good if he has no flights to book.
