Raymond, one develops and maintains his own moral code. I am sure many people can sleep quite well every night having rationalized their behavior feeling quite justified in comparison to their interpretation of all the terrible things our government has done. It seems you choose negative interpretations of activities of government officials to develop your relative moral code. Could you not base your moral's on all of FDR's decisions? Or perhaps the collective good the USA has accomplished over the years. But in the face of the today's moral ambiguities and relativism, you choose life.

What I should have said in response to your brave terrorists comments is that I dont think they were brave. Your were correct coward is not the opposite of brave. Brave/Courage is defined as mental or moral strength to venture, persevere, and withstand danger, fear, or difficulty.

Honor or disgrace, do we collectively as a nation have the courage to take appropriate actions? Perhaps if we had been more courageous in the late 1930's our government would not have been forced to do as you allege they did in 1941.

I see this moral ambiguity and relativism as a clear threat to our national security. With two sons who will sooner or later get involved, I like other parents will not be comforted by the lack of support of our military.
