<Worked in England and Germany. Also worked in Canada and US. Since returning, I found myself looking at my fellow Americans as having a rather narrow world view. >

Ditto.

John, what amazes me is that even with our "narrow views" and in spite of the ridicule heaped on us, the "world" loves our humanitarian aid and the tax dollars we "narrow minded Americans" ship all over the "world" to save someones ass.

Thank God we "narrow minded Americans" have built a strong country, otherwise the "world" may have belonged to Hitler and the likes.

Do we do it right all the time...NO, but we do it right most of the time. It may not meet the "worlds" "enlightned" approval as form but the substance is what matters.

God bless the "narrow minded" US of A.
