If, as seems likely, Bin Laden is the culprit, he has stated no cause other than wanting to kill Americans simply for being Americans. He feels that our presence in the kingdom of S.A. during the Gulf War defiled the holy lands of Islam. It is an irrational hatred born of a twisted religious fervor. And it had NOTHING to do whatsoever with the thousands of innocent civilian lives which were lost last week. There was no RATIONAL cause for this attack. JLA
