Every body is calling those people who died heroes, they are not heroes they are victims. I agree about those people you sight as being the real heroes as well. Ive yet to hear anyone from our gov't say "hey we screwed up". I am sick of listening to saber ratling, and praise to all the brave who are dead. I hope the USA leadership can handle the task they have commited too, because ill ive heard so far is alot of talk. The port Authority and Defence aand FAA failure to comunicate cost thousands of lives. After the first crash the FAA new this was a terrorist attack, and yet nobody called the port Authority to clear the 2nd building. At the time the PORT AUthority was telling the people to go back to their desks???? freaken unbeleavable. The Defence departement scrambled fighters 3-5 Minutes before both attacks, how come nobody warned the PA? How come after the first flight hit wasnt an imidiate public announcement stating these were possible Terrorist attacks and to urge people to evacuate??? We didnt just drop the ball before, but during as well. Many people were in the process of evacuating, and returned to their desk's. Why...? Wouldnt the prudent thing been to evacuate? Did they think that the tower would withstand a full 757? There were warning's? Three of the suspect's spoke of their attack at a bar in Florida, yet nobody called the police ther? I lived in Florida, and I gotta tell you that these people have let the sun rot their brains. 3 Arab genteleman talking about a terrorist attack and Nobody calls the FBI???????? Then to make matters worse these Arabs bought ONE ay ticket's with CASH!!!!!! Nobody thought to take extra security measures????? Pure Stupidity. The worst to me is the Moron who they interviewed who tought them how to fly. He said" they werent interested in takeoff's and landing's but just flying the plane. The also paid in CASH!!! Now if these Bozo's dont have enough common sence to put up a red-flag then we are all doomed. We have become arogent and pompous as a nation, I fear if we dont get back down to earth this war on terrorism will not end well. I remember in the Gulf war many believed we might lose, there was extreme pessimism in are Armed forces. Now we believe we can just march into Afghanastan, a country known for its gaurilla warfare, and walk out. If America doesnt smarten up we will end up with egg on our face.
