Re <<How many terrorists did you consult to reach these conclusions?>>

If he meant to say Moslems instead of terrorist, I agree completely and I have consulted many. Islam is not religion of hate or war, most of the text in Koran is based on the old testament. Koran very specifically recognized Christianity and Judaism as religion of god. It recognizes Jesus and Abraham is messengers of god. Yes there are minor differences in Koran, Bible and Torah, but the main message is the same.

Iran a country with a heavily Moslem population had a World Cup qualifying match yesterday in Tehran its capital. As always the 90 thousand stadium was (over) packed to capacity. They hold a 60 second silent and prayer before the match. My brother said it was the surreal. Beside some weeping sounds, 90,000 people were dead silent for 60 seconds, very strange in an Iranian soccer match. Many of the people were wearing a black armband, which in Iran symbolizes grief. All Iranian officials, including the most fundamental and hardliners, strongly condemned the terrorist actions and called it “barbaric”, “shocking”, “horrifying” and “sinful”.

Of course US media is not interested in any of these. It is much more important to show a crowd of 20 Palestinians celebrating and implying they are doing so in the name of Islam.

Monica Re..How many terrorists did you consult to reach these conclusions?<<<<<<<<<<

If the words of Arafat and the leader of Hamas are to be believed, the rest of the terrorist world hates the attacks; as on Tuesday, both denied any involvement and condemned the attacks. If you think most terrorists are about killing just for the sake of killing, you are wrong. Terrorists strike for several reasons, money being one of the principle reasons. But a strike of this magnitude will make it very difficult for supporters, drying up their source of capital. In addition, it will focus immense attention upon the camps, and the leaders, who are trying to work in anominity. And the idea that they are just slaughtering people works against their image in that they try to use controlled targets to press their point. This aimless slaughter went too far, and I believe most terrorist organizations will distance themselves from it.

You ask the question as if you believe most terrorist are mindless butchers. I assure you, they are not.
