It is true, there is a history. Still, there is something so overboard about this: JLA, now that I know you can write full sentences and express an actual concept absent clear heat of the moment excuses that I found it, and the ensuing tone, rather offensive. On the coyness matter: I accept your account of your meaning. Since you seem to me to have unfairly bashed religion in the past, I interpreted this in the light of those instances, and therefore took your disavowals as being coy. However, I would never flatly call you a liar when I cannot prove my case........

E, There are bad people that "claim" to be religious. If any of those with the nature to be terrorists, bigots, or murderers, are not following the precepts of the religions they claim to believe in. There is a difference between claiming to be religious, and actually believing in being the kind of people those religions ask them to be. Those terrorist that caused the Tuesday tragedy were not following the Koran, just as those that perpetrated the Spanish Inquisition, were not following the Bible. There is a difference between the two, wider than any ocean.
