<<Have you stopped to think what the losses may be in a war on terrorism? I don't just mean that someone could get blown up in a shopping mall. I mean that oil disruption could make SUVs a thing of the past. >>

Have you stopped to think what would happen if we didn't wage war on terrorists? How many more Black Tuesdays do you want? We gave billions of dollars to these people and they gave us billions in damage and 6,000 dead.

5 survivors found. 400, not bodies, but body parts recovered now.

Are you trying to suggest there is some alternative? Only the most naive will now suggest that there is anything we can do other than search out these cockroaches and stomp on them until they are no more.

These fanatics must be stopped at all costs.

Yes. A lot. Look what happened with the Soviets in ten years of war in Afghanistan. We'll have bodies coming back in bags again if we must invade.
Terrorism will very likely escalate for a while as the Islamic nuts try to score.

And we have to do it anyway.

Look at it this way, TP. If it gets too bad, we can always nuke 'em. :-)
