Hi Razorbak,

I like our back and forth quite a bit. Seems civilized. I questioned whether to get into GWB's stage management issues or not. Timing seemed off somehow. But it was salient to the discusssion at hand so I figured what the heck, I'm an equal opportunity offender.

I enjoyed your colorful interment of the Kyoto issue. Touche.

As to the missile defense thing, I'm in the camp of the Union of Concerned Scientists. That is to say, the damn thing has no chance of working. It's simply a boondoogle for the defense industry contractors who see it as a way to suck at my taxpayer teat. You do recall that the latest test over the Pacific only achieved "Success" because the intercepter was fed the telemetry on the bogie, and the damn bogie had a locator beacon on it for the full belts and suspenders effect? In any real world scenario, this thing is a joke. Now if you want to waste my tax money and give it to some defense contractor, I can think of a dozen more useful ways we might waste this money. To my mind, the only reason this thing is getting any traction at all is because of the bribes, er, campaign contributions that have been paid and need to be redeemed.

Cordially, Ray :)

Razor:

Interesting to see the true colors of some of the posters. Certainly glad they are in charge of nothing.

Best Regards
