We are not talking rock-throwing kids here. On this, all sides agree. They just sat and said no to everything. At the end, they just said, we insist on full right of return for refugees, i.e. open your doors to 5 million refugees at once, which would turn Israel into an Arab state. They wouldn't negotiate. Arafat refused to negotiate. Ben-Ami says, he thinks he's a myth, he thinks he's Saladin, so he cannot ever stand up and say, the conflict is over.
