What do we do with nations such as Pakistan, who have provided full cooperation for the terrorists and now promise cooperation with the US "but for price".

-- full cooperation, I need more details. Obviously based on what your statement means, different responses might be envisioned.

Regarding dealing with Pakistan in general, given the tensions between Pakistan and India, I can see all sorts of potential outcomes most of which are negative. With events unfolding rapidly I sure hope smart folks in all countries are thinking clearly.

CNN reported last night forgiving 30 billion in debt is included in the deal.
