By bringing up the bases, I guess your point is that the US is the author of military dictatorships. There were military dictatorships in Latin America before the Cold War. You're from Brazil- what about Getulio Vargas? Was he a puppet of the US? How about the government of Argentina? A tool of US policy? I think blaming the US for everything that's wrong with the world makes as much sense as blaming everything on the Jews or the international bankers. The US, of course, supports Israel, and a lot of banks and financial companies make their homes here. We don't control the world, or even our own part of the world. We don't even control Israel.
