We gave humanitarian aid to Afghanistan, We gave it to the UN to administer. Most which was in grain etc, some cash.

We also need to remember that there are a lot of people there, who do not support the tali. The taliban, were simply the people who gathered the most guns. Many poor peasants, with no means to reisist.

Appears Clinton had the ability to take OBL out last December, but didn't. Certainly more than when be bypassed the Joint Chiefs for his "Monica" bombings - they were made for his political purposes and didn't come close to their target.
