SEMICON Taiwan first day cancelled-Typhoon Nari dropped a lot of rain last night and this morning. The roads around the Taipei World Trade Center were flooded, electricity and water shut down at the Grand Hyatt next door, where many of the key people prepared to work the booths at SEMICON were staying (including myself). Tomorrow (2nd day of show) is still scheduled, but traffic will probably be light, according to my sources. The weather for the 3rd and last day should be dry, and this usually slow show day will probably be hectic. I'll be headed home on that day.
