Oh, I see. Criticizing Clinton and blaming him for this is fine; anything else is offensive treachery.

Our leaders and our military sure have got a challenge in front of them, please pray for their wisdom and skills.

Oh that's great. Let's really make this a holy war and resort to praying as a method of countering a terrorist attack. No. The U.S. needs to fix the problem, not to exacerbate it.

I don't see this from you.

Thank you.

I see you cheering as the market falls. Pulling for the economy to dive deeper into recession.

Well open your eyes. I have NEVER cheered for the market to fall. I have merely said it was inevitable. Preparing for a calamity does not equate to hoping for it. If you put on your seat belt that doesn't make you a reckless driver, and if you sell all of your stocks while they are at absurdly high levels, that is hardly anticapitalist.

Bashing the world's greatest companies.

I've never done that! I only bash Microsoft. I really would like to see the free market opened up again so that "the world's greatest companies" are allowed to compete. But that requires quashing Microsoft's illegal control over the free market.

Shorting the market through 'bear funds'.

Ooo, what treachery! Buying low and selling high. What an outrageous corruption of capitalism. But I suppose buying high on margin and then selling low in panic would be okay, right?

Bashing the world's greatest leaders.

I have not done that! I was bashing the Bush/CIA/Oil dynasty. They got us in this mess by covertly funding, arming, and training unstable rebels and terrorists around the world in the guise of fighting communism. I was just arguing that our government should stop doing that, so that when our pet rebels (like the Taliban, Osama bin Laden, Saddam Hussein, and Manuel Noriega, among many others) grow up and bite us, we don't have to be surprised.

Using politics at a time when there should be none.

Dave, wake up. Have you been watching C-SPAN lately? Every member of the U.S. government, while flying the the flag of nonpartisanship, has been using this horrific attack on our people as a tool to further his own agenda, whether that agenda is capital gains tax reduction, relaxing CIA restrictions that prevent them from funding criminal organizations and assassinations (thank you Bush Sr. for that one), or attacking the damned liberals (thank you Falwell and Robertson for this buffoonery).

How un-American is that? You need to realize how truly offensive you are.

So now it's "un-American" to want the U.S. to strive to improve and to stop fomenting worldwide instability? America is not Bush. It is not covert operations. It is us. It is hundreds of millions of people who have been now been attacked by our pet Taliban, whom we armed and trained at great expense in the use of antiaircraft missiles, planting minefields, and terrorism.

I'm sorry to offend you, but I believe it is "un-American" to continue to arm, fund, and train terrorists. It seems fairly obvious, and I really can't see how that is "un-American" to think this, unless as you apparently do, you define American as pro-terrorism. I suppose you also believe that as Americans we should now assist the Taliban by pushing the Afghan people even closer to the stone age than the Taliban has been able to do so far.

Dave

I concur with your opinion 100%. It's past time to ignore his tired socialist rants.
