Heinz, those are interesting times ......... wonder who will extract the higher price ........ from my read about Pakistan's Grand Plan in conjunction with China got me real worried .......... I wish those in DC would pay attention to the events in Central Asia / Kashnir / Tajikistan/ Afghanistan / Usbekistan / Pakistan / India etc......... not to mention the talking heads ............ millions are dislocated from the old Silk Road ....... for a purpose .......... and all are sleeping ........ part of Nostradamus prophecies ?? has there been a lot of short covering today? does that take some steam out of the supposed rally to be coming? if shorts are scared because of the PPT, who is going to prop up the market after they cover? that seems like a more bearish scenario because shorts (and nobody else) would profit from a downfall. it seems all news sources have the same story about a bit of a selloff at the open, and that puts in the bottom. a guy on public radio today (Peroni at Nuveen) seemed to say he expects the absolute bottom today. with all these people calling for a bottom today (or this week at the latest), it seems that scenario MUST be wrong.
