While I (sleepily) flail about with possible changes to our foreign policy, how about one where we never pay someone else to do our dirty work for us? That is, if the United States wants heads knocked, then the United States should be willing to risk our own heads being knocked. -- Carl P.S. I'm still looking for new principles under which foreign policy for the world's 130+ nations can avoid terrorism. Some minimax solution, where the optimized result is a more complex combination of advantage and violence than the one that we use now.
