Someone could explain the ending of Memento to me, which I thought I understood until somebody on kissy said that in that presumably explanatory scene with his wife at the end, there was a tattoo that had an instruction on it that wouldn't make my conclusion sensible. (I am being cryptic so as not to be a spoiler in case a bhssf hasn't yet seen it.)

Of course someone would first have to remind me of the whole movie, because it seems to have slipped my mind.
