In Christianity the main difference between concepts of paths to holiness are whether faith is enough, or whether one must also perform good works. I am in the good works camp. But having been brought up Catholic, I know about expressing one's beliefs by what you eat, and what you wear, and how you have sex with your spouse.

At any rate, I don't think anyone's religion is too strange to respect, even if I don't agree with it, or even understand it.

David, metaphysical certitude is very popular these days.

There's a thing I half recall about Papal infallibility. Just a rumour, but somebody at least is perfect. I think Bin Laden must be nearing Nirvana too.
