Special ops forces are great soldiers, and the grunts in the light divisions are too, but when you add up all the numbers of actual fighters, the numbers are probably less than those of the unknown enemy, which is fighting at a place of its own choosing. Add to that the negative effects of restrictive rules of engagement and political interference, and you possibly end up with scenes from Somalia. I pray that doesn't happen again.knc

Agreed. You may want to read Blackhawk Down if you get a chance. It gives you a pretty good idea of what those guys are all about, particularly the Delta Force folks.

the guys who overtook the high jackers looked to be in good shape. One was 6'5" played soccer, another one 6'1" practiced karate and two others forget size but seemed to be in shape. Quite a feat facing high jackers whom I assume were in good shape and armed. Real hero's.
