I curious what everyone is thinking in terms of the airline bailout that's being proposed by Congress. I guess I don't mind helping out the airlines but now they are talking about extending it to BA [BA btw has just announced a 20-30k person layoff, starting next year], to insurance companies, to travel agencies and to other tourist facilities like hotels and Disneyland. First of all I don't think we have enough $$$ to bail out all those industries. Secondly, I don't think its a good precedent to set. It worries me because most leaders are saying that we have to be one voice and there should be no objections to whatever needs to be done. Well, I for one do not want money spent so indiscriminately. What do you all think? ted
