No thanks to Clinton. He benefited politically from Reagan's peace dividend and took credit for it. It was Reagan, not Clinton who said, "Mr. Gorbachev, tear down that wall."

As to keeping the Mid-East in check, guess again. Terrorism and terrorist infiltration FLOURISHED under Clinton, and in "retaliation," (rather than ending it) he spent millions to lob a few cruise missiles to kill a few goats (in between getting off with Monica and untold others). His "keeping them in check" was akin to Saddam lobbing scuds at Israel. You think the USS Kole, Khobar Towers, African embassy bombings, etc., as well as the planning and infiltration of all these "sleepers" in the WTC attack took place since January '01? They were virtually free to recruit, develop, plan, and execute under Clinton, while we were told to do the macarena and sing "Don't worry, be happy," which we obligingly did.

OT

Kept the mid-east in check? You're joking right? He failed to bring in Osama. He lobbed several million dollars worth of bombs on a couple of $20 tents and felt his job was done. What a joke at foreign policy Clinton was! He was too busy cheating on his wife and humping interns to bother himself with matters of state.

Bush may not have Clinton's silver tongue, but he does have an admistration with the right people at the right time for the job: Cheney, Powell, and Rumsfeld.

Clinton's Balkans was a disaster. He cowardly waited out
while Milosevic's troops daily advanced, invaded and
mixed with the Bosnian population and only then bombed
them thus killing untold innocent citizens, women and
children. He waited and waited while the enemy advanced.
No guts. A coward.

A list from A to Z of Clinton's lack of any redeeming virtue :

rushonline.com

He subdued Haiti a 2 by 2 inch island. What a great leader.
He sat out our Yemen Embassy bombing.
He sat out the US Cole bombing attack.

Yes he did bomb an Aspirin factory in Sudan ( he thought
Bin Laden was hiding inside the aspirin boxes? ).

He bombed Sudan the day Lewinski testified about his lechery.
Obviously his attack was to distract the Nation.
Yes he did send a couple of stealth rockets to Afghanistan and Iraq. It lasted a whole lot of 3 days.

No, obviously you did not follow Billy around because
he was constantly at The Sherriff's office trying to
defend himself from some kind of accusation about
lying, defrauding,obstructing justice,murdering children
at Waco etc etc.

And he did that with a whole bunch of 2 bit brained Democrats who are now reaping the full benefits of his
disaster: A collapse of

*The US Economy
*California Energy & Economy
*USForeign policy
*The US Stock Market
*The US Health Care Sysytem

The last cheerleaders are still standing:

you
The National Public Radio
ABC
NBC
CNN
CBS
and of course all the assorted bleeding heart
Liberal Democrats who gave us this unmitigated disasters
