Ike, this is all very sad.
I never wanted the market to collapse for this type of reason.

My game plan now is that no serious rally will happen & hold till the USA starts shooting at someone....very sad again, but true, IMO.

Be safe.

IQBAL

On September 11, 2001, the world experienced the worst terrorist crime in history. This crime was so heinous, of such magnitude, that no country in the world was untouched.

esnap.net

Let all mankind pray that 10 years from now this event shall be seen to have served as:

* a bridge to world brotherhood;
* a catalyst to unite world nations in common cause to eradicate organizational terrorism;
* a signal to unite the world's nations in common cause to eradicate the injustices in which extremism flourishes;
* a glue to draw us all closer together;
* the flaw in the carpet of humanity which emphasizes our common humanity and imperfections;
* the fountain of greater worldwide tolerance and understanding;
* the symbol of what the world faces if we do not read and learn the graphic lessons before us.

September 11 was a tragic day. But we should not allow that these people have died in vain. Let their lives and their memory serve as the foundation to create a newer and better world.

(So good to see you back, Ike!! And, as always, champion of rational solutions for humanity!)

Hamas will be liquidated but so has Israel withdrawn from Territories yesterday. That was predicted, and pressure is now own to start the peace process. Same with these organisations don’t overlook that fact that causes of problems will be addressed, as the obvious would be attacked.

Ike:

The war is necessary to halt and reduce the capability of Terrorist aggression around the world... But, just as important is to try and find out why terrorists become terrorists... And why some terrorists are local, and others are international... An example is the IRA in Northern Ireland and London... They don't have world wide disruption of civilization as their agenda... The terrorists in Columbia focus on fighting the police and military efforts to curtail their activities... They don't blow up buildings in other countries... What sets the Arab Islamic terrorists apart is their common religion and a desire to destroy anything Western... Why??? How could that help the plight of millions of poor uneducated people in their countries run by religious and or military dictatorships... There must be some kind of TWISTED interpretation of the Quran that gives them justification to do what they do... The Quran, like the Old and New Testaments are books of peace and understanding... So, we get back to the Hitlerlike charismatic leaders that are able to convince people to join their mission... Perhaps this mission gives purpose to people who otherwise would go through life living a meager, hard, and boring existence... We need answers to counteract the conditions that make the Middle East fertile ground for this perversion of the word of God...

I do not think anyone in any position of credibility and power is talking about nuking anyone.

By your last post, I get the impression that certain developments (or media reports & speculation) there are causing you greater worry than yesterday.

What is going on? Are the extremists creating havoc? I look forward to your reports, and your analysis, and your spirit.

Concerned;

Kevin

And nothing less than freedom and final peace for the Hindus
of Kashmir & the punjab from Pakistan backed agression...nothing less.

I wonder if Mohammed really knew , in his private little
sparkling perfumed drenched visions up on the desert ridge,
of the ideal heavenly gardens , roses and virgins
was not meant to go beyond the borders of the Arabian
peninsula ....

...except that it was carried far & wide in large part
by warrior~robbers , brigands, murderers
and thieves ?

Is there a passage in the Quran , of the monkey's reach
ever exceding it's grasp ? Look to Mohammed for the answer
for if the truth was told about Mohammed , very little
of Allah , did he really know.

As for Pakistan today , they should be summarily
disarmed like Iraq, and Hindu Kashmir finally , once and
for all set free. But we will offer Pakistan more military
aid for their "assistance" now ?

That's---->pure insanity. Bribing them with promises of more weaponry ?<gg>

Pakistan should ultimately be disarmed ...and Kashmir
from the terror of fundamentalist Islam
finally set free.

Nothing less will do. Free Kashmir as well as Afghanistan.
