Moscow, Russia, Sep 20, 2001 (RosBusinessConsulting via COMTEX) -- According to forecasts of the Central Bank of Russia, the gold and currency reserves of the Russian Federation will continue growing in 2002, First Deputy Chairman of the bank Tatyana Paramonova declared at a press conference today. According to her, this will depend on various factors and mainly on prices for Russia's exports. At the same time, the external surplus is expected to continue in 2002, even though it may decrease a little. It is worth mentioning that the gold and currency reserves of the Russian Federation reached $37.5bn as of September

i saw the nem upgrade this morning and was concerned

i remember the gs downgrade many months ago, and took it as a good buy signal. it seems to have worked so far. now this upgrade by gs makes me wonder if gs is trying to pump it to get some clients out at these levels. i take this upgrade as a caution for my nem holdings.
