Dear Mary: I have seen many forms of PC. Many of those forms cover up their real intended purpose by calling what they want as just being PC. Most of the forms wanted to censor certain books because of their content and justified as being insensitive to some group. In almost every case, no one would have banned many of those books under any other justification and definitely not for the underlying reason. Just think what being PC, politically correct, means. Think it through. It would have justified slavery (it was PC in the south), the interment of Japanese Americans in WW2 (the same as some would treat Arab Americans) and even groups like the KKK. And I believe that it should not be used as any sort of justification. Pete
