>> Craig, I'm really beginning to think you don't like anyone or anything <<

considering how often you use the word idiot around here i could say the same to you!

>> Sticking your head in the sand with Pat Buchanan until someone shoots you in the ass isn't going to help. <<

ok, you go fight in the middle east mr macho. i'm sure you like to talk tough because you know you will never have to go fight.

>> You would rather stand by while a few mad Serbs slaughter innocent Bosnians? <<

oh i see. the serbs are all that is evil and kosovars are so perfect and pure. you are so naive. of course it's easy for you to say because NATO didn't lose one single life in the bombing strikes, but killed thousands of innocent lives themselves.

>> You would say "none of our business" to the slaughter of million of Jews as long as the Nazis didn't gas any Americans in the process? <<

if we were so concerned about jews dying at the hands of hitler why did he kill 6 million of them before we stopped him? don't be so naive.

>> Engagement, not isolationism <<

fine! it's a worthwhile debate. all that i ask is that we be clear about our hegemonism and we accept the price we will have to pay. of course you are sitting at home safe pecking away at your computer so it's easy for you to act all patriotic and dutiful. but if you were asked to go to the middle east or kosovo and back your words up with action i think we might see a different viewpoint from you.
