When they attacked the WTC it was a symbol. They were attacking the world and I believe that's how they meant for it to be received. If they wanted to only attack Americans they could have targeted another building. Did the whole world deserve this?

I think they miscalculated and thought that if other countries had victims in the attack they might put pressure on the U.S. It backfired.

From the information that has been released, maybe America has the higher moral ground, but I would not be certain of it.

As far as the victims of the terror, they are pawns in the game. Just as the suicide bombers were pawns in the game as will be the American troops who go to Afghanistan.

I do not mean that to be an insult, just an observation.
