Kant was not really a philosopher he was more of speculator that tried to reach a compromise between the science of the day and religion. His speculations were also a direct response to Luther. I will not rehearse the complexities of the argument, when you are in so antagonistic a mode. It is not worth the time. Suffice it to say that belief is allowable because it could be, and that belief is a choice. So what? It does not pose as knowledge. On the other, we were not discussing the content of justice, just the hope that it will be achieved in the end.
